As every chapter of Theta Chi knows, our letters literally mean, "helping hand." We the brothers of the Eta Beta Chapter strive to exemplify that as much as possible. Bringing in two new philanthropy chairs brought in many new ideas for this semester. Currently we have planned to clean our Adopt-A-Highway, work with the Rape Crisis Center of Richmond, collect paper products for the Habitat for Humanity Foundation, and work with the Salvation Army to help spread holday cheer to needy families in the local area. Also, we plan to do several philanthropic events to support our national philanthropy, the American Red Cross.
Our brothers constantly stride to assist the needy and lend their services to those who ask for it. We are welcome to ideas that may allow us to give more to the Greek community, Eastern Kentucky University, City of Richmond and Madison County. We look forward to philanthropy projects and urge those interest in the same to join us. |
